Help with wheel and tire selection - Post pics please!
Hey guys. This is my first thread and Im well aware of the fact that I am a noob so be gentle.
Just bought a 2006 Lariat Screw 4x4. I need a little help with picking out some wheels/tires. I pretty much know what I want it to look like but I am not sure how to go about achieving that look. I have a Daystar 2" leveling kit ready to go on when I get my wheels and tires. Here is kinda what I am going for:
1. Chrome, Polished, or silver powdercoat.
2. 20" rim
3. 35" tire. Pretty set on BFG All Terrain.
4. Nice offset. I would like the tire to stick out past the wheel well about an inch or so.
5. Little or no rubbing.
6. Agressive but classy.
Just from studying other setups on this forum, i think that if I want to get a 35" tire with little to no rubbing I am probably going to have to go with an 8.5" wide wheel. Let me know if I am wrong.
I have been looking at the Eagle Alloy 178's and I love them. I have seen a few trucks on here that have those in 18's and I love that look but I would love to see some of them in 20's on a truck.
Any pics or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I don't have 20's, but do have 35" tireas on a leveling kit. From what I have found everywhere on this forum, this is what will work:
9" wide wheel with a minimum 4.5" or 4.75" backspacing will work and rub very little or not at all. This will also put the wheel about 1" outside the fenders.
Mine are 17x9 w/ 4.75" backspacing and don't rub ever.
