I bit and got one last night. The WalMart here only had 2 white ones and one looked like the fender was scuffed already. I didn't have enough AA batteries to try it out, but it does feel incredibly cheap. For $6 I can't really complain tho. One cool thing....the mirrors are rubber so they will bend and not break off the second time you (or the kids) play with it. The rest of the detail is actually pretty good, too. Definitely not bad or $6

Think I might buy 2 or 3 and see if I can "supercharge" it.

Well, I went and bought one, the batteries cost as much as the truck did. Eventually I'll tear it apart and paint it blue like mine, I have some paint and clear left over from when I had my mirrors done.

Overall it's maybe 6 inches long, it even has an h-bar style grill like the fx4's and stx's do.

I'm going to walmart tonight to see what I can get my hands on, and how hard it will be to take apart.

All you need is a #1 phillips screwdriver, 5 screws total, 2 front, 2 rear, and 1 under the batteries and then you can yank off the body. Once its off, remove the cover inside, 5 more screws and remove the single screw holing the board on and now the antenna is free and you can pull it up thru the inner cover and body.

You could probably put some spacers under the body posts and have a makeshift body lift. If you put maybe a 1/8" in the back and 3/16" or 1/4" in the front you should get a leveled body lift look.

Easier said than done, the gearbox and drive motor sit right up against the underside of the bed floor. If it wasn't for that you could just shorten the body posts and have a drop.

couldn't you just cut the inside of the bed off and shorten the body posts to go lower ?
