I am wondering where I can find some smoked roof clearance lights. I have orange lights now. I bought them at Autozone or something a long time ago and installed them myself. Yes, it was scary to just start drilling into my roof. Well, now I want to try and put smoke lenses on. I currently have the tear drop shaped lights. So, here is what I need to know... does anybody know where I can get smoked tear drop lenses, or can somebody give me some measurements on the other types out there to see if they will cover up where mine lay now. I think the paint will be faded so I want to be able to cover up where my lights lay now.

Ah, I would like to post pictures but I am in Iraq. However, thanks to your link, I am now contemplating getting the recon BIG RIG running lights. I have a Black 2005 F150 FX4 Screw that just had the 4" Rancho put in it. Just not sure if it will be too many extra lights if I add them.

 

how do you put these on a f150? drill holes?

 

I'd like to see some pictures of 150 with these on them.

I am surprised that Tylus hasn't chimed in yet as he was the only one that I know of who did this mod. Try doing a search using his username, I am sure he still has pics.

 

i will be doing this once i get some Bday money, but i will use the Dodge ones like Tylus did!!! now i just need to find a decent looking clearance light for the side of my TT mirror!!
