Does this mean something?
Hi
I have a 2006 FX4
Everytime I start it, the wrench light stays on for like a second and then turns off.
I don't remember this happening before but I'm not sure.
I had always tought all light signals turn on when starting the engine and then they all light down at the same time.
The truck is working aparentely fine.
Not asking what does it mean, just would like to know if something is wrong.
Thank you
Giorgio

it's fine. the Inst. Cluster does a lamp test every time you start it up.
the majority of lights should pop on. I know they do in my Expy and the Stang.
put the key into the "Run" position, but don't actually start it. All of those lights are part of the lamp test...and will momentarily come on during startup.
your good to go
