Where to mount Train Horns

I recently got a dual 480c Viair compressor kit and i have a 5 gal tank that I don't have pics of yet. I know everyone says the best place is spare tire but i kinda wanna keep that due to pulling a travel trailer. I looked at putting these beast behind the grille but i just don't think i can the tank i just don't think will fit on the frame rail so I figured that will be where the compressors go i did see a spot above the rear axle but i thought about suspension compression and I don't want any thing to hit i only have a 5.5 foot bed and i use a lot of the bed when we go camping. I am running out of options anyone have a good idea for me any help and pictures of custom installs would be great. I found some really good prices on air zenith gauges and i am planning on getting a pod for the center of the dash. I did a search but alot of what i could come up with was spare tire, spare tire so i thought i would show some pics of what the horns look like.

if you have a tool box....

i would mount the horns underneath the box.
the tank would be mounted inside the box
the compressor would also be in the box.

This makes the horns soooo much louder lol. look into a bigger tank if you put it in th tool box.

if you dont have a tool box im sure you could mount it on the frame right where the doors are. but then i believe you could see them.

Put it right behind grille, it'd be pretty loud right there

I have everything mounted under there. My compressor now has a steel cage around it that I painted with undercarriage coating. I even have my 7 gallon tank mounted there. I welded a bracket on it to mount my K3LA too.

Well I don't have a tool box and I need my spare tire for traveling. I am putting the horns behind the grille that is taken care of. Is there anyone that has a tank mounted to the passenger frame rail any size tank any where actually. I pretty much figured there is no way to mount my tank to my truck it is just to big. I don't have a lift of any sorts and I tow a travel trailer alot so any help is really needed.

i just installed my horns in front of the spare tire, there was room but i had to take one of the horns off to manuver them above my exhaust then bolt it back on once they were above it. i welded two tabs to the bottom of my frame and just bolted the tank on top of the tabs so my tank is tucked up in between the frame and the body on the passenger side.

Nice....I have the hornblasters shocker 4 horn kit mounted behind the grille on my lightning, all at a angle facing down..

Theyre all individual horns though, and it was quite a job getting them to fit...

Like they said above, I'd go the toolbox route
