First off, what is your budget? A custom tuned program is a need on these trucks. These trucks are **** slow from the factory.

Not so sure about this. Mine is stock and it'll leave a nice black "11" every time I stomp it.

CAI and dual exhaust, then gryphon. gotta give it more to work with. ive drove a few different 2000 years f150s with stock intake/exhaust and compared to the one i ended up with (with them to mods) they were sluggish to start.

Definitely get a custom tuned PHP Gryphon with a cold air and exhaust. It completely changes the truck. I have 35 inch tires and all of those upgrades allow me to pull high 7 second 0-60 times. That is still kinda slow, but I was running about a 9 second 0-60 stock, so its a major improvement. I've also timed my 0-45 mph at about 4 seconds. Thats just the numbers, the seat of the pants feel is even better.

I'm also looking into getting a gryphon or whipple, got a V8 that also has that "hesitation" I guess you can call it as it gets high in the RPM's, looking for that HP
