Has anyone that did this to their truck notice a high pitched whinning noise when they punch the gas? Mine is making a noise kinda like a blower/supercharger might make..did not notice until i added the K&N filter actually..will replace with factory and re-test just wondering though..

I have not really noticed any difference since doing either..but will know for sure tomorrow night as i will have a chance to race my bro-in-law who has a 07 FX2 crewcab with dual exhaust and our trucks are dead even, mine being a little quicker from a dead stop..but from a 50 punch we are dead even..

We let off right when we are going into 3rd gear because neither one of us really want to be running 90 beside each other

 

It's the K&N. Mine does the same. My buddys Jeep 'whistles' too.
