flow through shifter pics

anyone have any detailed pictures of the floor pan with and without the shifter bolted down? Ive done some research and all i can find is pics of the console, and not so much about the shifter itself.

Thanks in advance

I don't have any pics of it, but the flow thru shifter does not bolt directly to the floor. There is a rigid plastic frame or cradle that it bolts to and the side and top panels also clip onto the same cradle setup. IIRC the mounting flange on the bottom of the shifter is flat and probably could be bolted directly to the floor.

I would try to find a donor truck and get the whole console and shifter, with cable and the brackets from the side of the trans. And try to get these brackets too, that way you can experiment with it and try to graft it into your truck.

anyone else?

Trying to get a relative picture of how far from the cable hole the shifter gets mounted, and a relative picture of the cable hole of the hole in relation to the body

soo the floor mounted 04-08 shifter/console is adaptable to 97-03? Hmm-that would be a kick *** mod! Now My take on this {if it works" would be to have a manual t-case lever too!!

I dont like my console shift. I wish my FX4 still had the full console but with a colomn shift and a storage pocket where the shifter is, or not a full console and extra floor space there. Like a half console so I still have bucket seats and rear cup holders but just cut about 10 inches off it where the shifter and cup holders are now and move the cup holders back and put the shifter on the tree.

What you described is basically the "XLT" console. the back half and lid are the same as a flow thru while the front half has two cupholders.

Depends on what you call adaptable, it wont be a bolt in swap.....
