I just wanted to add a few pics to show how my truck looks with 2.5 leveling spacers and 35x12.50r18 tires.

Now that I know they will fit and "mostly" clear I'm going to order a set. I might get 315x70 or something like that to be slightly smaller. Not real sure yet.

Also, I'm going to remove all the mudflaps cause I like the looks better without them. A member on here (dos0711) asked about them a while back so I'll see if he still wants them.

Nice truck dude.

Are the headlights assemblies sealed? Or is it possible to take them apart to paint them? I love the look. I'm doing that to my FX4 if it isn't totaled.

Also what type of paint did you use on the plastic pieces?

The headlights are sealed but you can put them in oven to release factory glue and pry them apart to paint them. There is a "how to" on here somewhere. I used Krylon satin black to paint my lights.

Thinking about painting f-150 emblems black too but not made my mind up yet. Also thinking about painting mirror caps gloss black for a different look.

I'd like to see flat black emblems but leave the letters only in chrome.

Yea it does. I have always liked the look and proportions of a supercab shorted truck. Until I actually need a 4-door, that's what I'll have.

air8, I might try that. I'll keep everybody updated

Hey guys, I am thinking of putting a ladder rack on my truck if I can find a nice looking black one. I mainly want it to haul canoe's or kayak's on and maybe install a few lights on the front of it. Also, if i get one, the rear cross brace has to be removable so i still ride my ATV's up into the bed. Not real sure yet, but if I can find one that looks like what I want or can make one I just might do it. Just a thought. What do you guys think?

Maybe something like this, but I would want to shorten it to where it doesn't stick out over the windshield and also probably add metal mesh over the cab to hold cargo. I would also try to modify it to where it's only higher then he cab by about 1in or so max. Know what I'm trying to say? I think it would look tough if done right.

Look what happened to my truck on Thursday.

A automatic gate closed on my truck hood while leaving work last Thursday. It didn't dent it and over half of it rubbed out but you can still tell. Just not my day I guess.

Damn .... The hood is aluminum, hard to believe it didn't dent at all .... but I see it didn't! Maybe some polish or Mequires Cleaner Wax will show undamaged paint still lives there?
