New truck for me!!!

Hi everyone! Its been years since I was excited about reading these forums, since my Lightning mostly just sits in the garage now. However, I'm on the verge of buying a gorgeous 2006 F150 SuperCab Lariat. I couldn't get too much info from the car lot guy, so I'm hoping you guys and google can help me out. Is there a sight where I can enter the VIN and find out the particulars on this truck? I was wondering about axle ratio's and weather or not it was limited slip. If it had any payload package or towing package. Stuff like that, that isn't readily apperent. I'm slowly reading up on common problems this truck might have, and just figured out what an IWE is, LOL. Anyway, if you guys have any advice, let me know, and I'll get pic's up as soon as its in the driveway!

There is a link at the top of the page for a VIN decoder. You can also find it here. Hope this helps some. Good luck with your purchase.

Put your VIN at the end of this link to get the Window Sticker for your truck:

I have been wondering about my trucks codes too. Are the codes on a sticker on the truck somewhere? I see the list of what the codes all mean, but can't seem to figure out how the obtain them.
Thanks

Open your drivers side door and look at the stickers on the door where the latch is located.

That link didn't work for my truck. It said my VIN wasn't in their system.

Too bad the decoder doesn't give much information. I contacted Ford and requested a build sheet but after two months no response. I guess I need to contact them again.

From: In the fast lane from LA to Tokyo...

You can also go to a Ford dealer and ask them to run the vin through oasis.

Whooo Hooo !

04-08's the best looking years

Supercabs.... the best cab config (most like a real 'truck')

Now, as long as it's not white, you will have a truck worth doing a double take for

Congrats,
Fish
