so gettin back on track to the original question and away from BUYING KITS. my friend said to take the leaf springs off and flip them. 'IS IT TRUE AND IS IT BAD?'. thats all i asked, if it was true. funny how ppl want to make immature comments about somethin that doesnt even affect them.

Dude, as an owner of an 08 Single Cab with a V8, I take offense on behalf of all these guys AND Ford. I have had only one problem and it was the a/c blend door. I count my blessings that I did not have the issues some of the earlier NBS style owners have had.
I also have to say that if you drove your previous trucks and cars like you say, you do indeed beat your truck down, even if you won’t admit it. I know this because I had a Grand Am GT, a Dodge Stratus R/T and a VW Jetta GLI and I drove ‘em like I stole ‘em. You can’t change the stripes on a tiger. I drive my truck the same way and still don't have the issues you have described. You say you don't drive like that; I’ll call BS on that.
Do the mod right and get the kit. And don’t come in here spouting off like Billy Bad *** and get mad when these guys offer up answers to you questions even though you come across as an ***. I read your title and didn’t care for you before I ever read your post. You can’t blame these guys for ripping you a new one when you post like this. Chill out and listen to these guys. Most have done what you want to do and can show you how to do it right so maybe you will be a little happier with your truck.

my favorite quote... this coming from the guy who titled this thread the way he did... there is no accounting for stupidity or immaturity I suppose...

The problem here in both cases OP, IMO, is between the seat and the wheel and between the keyboard and seat.
Thats just me though.
Not that it matters any, but my uncle has a 300-6 thats in a 1995 F-150. Thing has over 280K miles, real close to 300 last time i checked and it still runs and drives good.
I bet he abused his just working more than you ever will yours.
he tows and hauls cattle and hay, as well as feed and supply.
Body's is a little rough, well a lot rough but its a great old truck, and todays standards are far above the ones his truck was made to.
