How are these bulbs? Lifespan?

 

I haven't had mine in long enough to tell how long they last, but they're basically "ok" when it comes to performance. Are they worth $25 though? Yes.

These, like all high performance halogen lamps have rated lamp life of about 300 hours or so. Pretty crappy if you compare them to standard halogen lamps which are rated for 1500 hours.

Lamp manufacturer's love us with these things. It only costs a few more pennies to make a Xtreme Power lamp vs a standard lamp.

I wasn't impressed with these, they offer more output over standard lamps. But they're too yellow for my eyes.
