Interested to learn if a 2006 KingRanch mirror external housing can be replaced with the 2007 Lariat Chrome Package mirror.
Dealer tells me the 2007 Lariat housing and chrome cap cannot be purchased without buying the whole mirror?

Do your mirrors have the painted cap or textured black cap?

 

They have the textured black caps and it looks like they are not caps. the housing is all one piece.
