4x4 Low Stuck or Won't Disengage?
This happen to me today and I noticed this is a common problem on these trucks when towing or just getting out of mud or snow in 4x4 low. When you use 4x4 low and notice your truck is still stuck on 4x4 low no matter how many times switch the **** to 2WD or 4x4 High and still won't disengage... Follow these steps:
1. Park the truck and turn it off
2. Select it to 2WD
3. Start the truck and put in neutral. (Sometimes disengages here after 5 seconds)
4. Push the truck backwards then forward a few feet in neutral.
The 4x4 low should disengage after doing this. If not, you can try going in reverse or forward and slamming on your brakes or going in reverse in 2wd for little bit. Then try the steps again. Sometimes to get it out of 4x4 low takes anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour. Hope this helps!
