About to buy a f150, which deal sounds best?

Hi guys I am looking at a few trucks. Which one do you think sounds best?
Thanks in advanced

04 f150, fx4 super crew. 5.4, leather, power sliding rear window, no parking sensors, 3rd owner I think. Has 85k miles. He will take 12k. The back bumper/rear right quarter panel was hit in a parking lot so the bumper probably needs to be replaced. The paint is scratched on the quarter panel..
Hasn't changed spark plugs

Next one

04 F150 fx4, every option besides leather, and sun roof. Has parking sensors, towing package, power sliding rear window. It comes with a leer cap and a carpeted bed(said was over 2k new) I don't want this so maybe I can sell it for 1k?. He described the outside as immaculate and same with the inside. He has had fitted seat covers on it since brand new. He is the 1ST OWNER. has sticker. Said all maintnence was done by FORD dealerships. It was in one crash. He was hit from behind. He has all the paper work for that, how much does that decrease the value? This truck seems like it has been kept in amazing condition. Spark plugs haven't been change...he said he hasn't ever had a problem with them so no need to. He said he will take 10k, I think I can get him down to 9k though.
Has 112k miles
What do you think?
Thanks

I would say the last one, depending on the mileage.

I would take the 2nd truck as well depending on mileage, and you may want to have a frame shop check it out from that rear collision. You may be able to sell the Leer cap, but I doubt you get $1K for it. Lucky if you got $500.

The second one sounds promising. You can run a free Car Fax but it will not give specifics unless you pay a annual fee. It will tell you if any reports exist.

I would check KBB.com to get an estimate of what it's worth. Test drive it for unusual noise, knocks, rattles, etc. Check all fluids; oil, trans, radiator and differentials for discoloration, metal shavings or burnt smell. Are there any leaks? How are the brakes, hoses, belt, tires?

Good luck.

2nd one sounds better as long as the rear end collision wasn't any major damage.. And you would be lucky to get $500 for the cap, There's not a big market for them. Most people go with tonneau covers these days unless using the truck for work.

Either one would need new spark plugs. Budget for that, worst case. If you can hear the cam phasers, budget some more.

Yeah I wouldn't buy it if it had cam phaser problems..don't feel like droppping 2k. But I am looking to spend around 15k. I have an 05 mustang gt with every option, and 66k miles. I would love to make a package deal with that and some cash.

Is this your budget for just the truck or any mods you will do to the truck once you buy it?
The second truck seems like a decent deal but the reason i ask if that if you have 15k to spend on truck before mods you could find a newer, nicer vehicle. If your wanting to spend that much with the mods your wanting to add then maybe a different truck would work as well. Once someone has put everything on a vehicle you will buy the mods cheaper then new. So if depending on what your budget really is maybe do more searching for a vehicle.
