Some advice -- 2007 Scab w/ 4.6L

I really love my 06' XL, especially after all the work I've done to it, but lately I have been greatly reminded of some of its shortfalls, such as only have 2 seats. I have been trolling around the various sites looking at Scab's and Screw's, and have found a few.

My question is: are the 2007 / 2008 4.6L engines as reliable / more reliable than the 4.2L? And whatddya think? Should I spring for one? I've found 3 different STXs, 1 4x4 and 2 2WDs ranging from $17.9K - $19.5K. The miles range from 33K on lowest to 38K on the highest.

I have been looking at new trucks too, but I just can't bring myself to pay more than 25K for a vehicle.

I am looking to stay under $20K.

I have several options but I am also looking for mileage less than 40K, 2007 or newer, and super cab / super crew. narrow it down by those criteria, its pretty much all 4.6L's.
