x2, truck is coming along great. Waiting for updated pics and curious about that plati dip, how well do you think its going to hold up? Also, can you take some closeups of the steps?

Thanks!
I have very high bond (VHB) from 3M that I used.
Make sure you take a heat gun and get the fender badge very warm.
Then hold the badge to the side of your truck and see how close it is.
Mine were warped slightly.
I then heated them back up and bent them by hand to form them perfect to my fender.
Once formed, I then applied the double-sided tape.
Getting the old badge and tape off is not too bad.
Take some fishing line and "floss" between the fender and the emblem.
There are 2 tabs on the emblem that keep you from going all the way thru each side.
Then just pull it off. You'll spend more time removing the factory double sided tape! Use paitence, some rubbing alcohol, a little elbow grease, and a microfiber towel!

Looks good man!!
You didn't even have to tape off the steps to plastidip, that's the beauty of the stuff, you can just spray it and peel off the excess. It would tear perfectly along the edge of the step, just for future reference. Stuff is great, import guys have been using it to black out badges and stuff for a while now.
