2004 F150 Replacing Wheel Bearings

I have searched this forum and cant find any one who has replaced the front wheel bearing with out doing the whole hub assy. I know at one point it seems that just the bearing were not available, however I have seen them on a coule web pages. It is listed as a Timken Part # of set930 Any one out there that has pressed in new bearing instead of replcaing the whole hub assy?

Two years ago when I was trying to replace my bearing I did press the old one out and despite what any web site or and parts store computer said it was not to be gotten. I called Timken themselves and they had not released them as individual sale and would not give an answer on if they even would. If they have now realeased them and you have access to one and would like to know if you can press it out the answer is yes. Just be prepared because that sucker pops on release.

Micheal,

Thanks for the info, if you noticed I attached a link to my posting original. The part number is SET930 from Timken. I may have jumped the gun looks like it may be for the 2WD. This is so EFFED up...having to replace the whole hub for three hunderd bucks!

Sorry I was unable to look at attachment earlier due to work restricted websites. All of the part stores I hunted all had the same part # of set930 but none were able to get them. I believe that there are several people that have gone aftermarket two piece just not sure of any exact websites. I think I heard something about zeckhausen but have never checked them out myself.

Centric offers a hub replacement that I think then uses the 4x4 rotor.
