Wow, those side by side pics really show the difference in illumination. Excuse my ignorance, but do you have high beams with this sort of set up?

It depends on the setup. Mine has both high and low beams, not sure about mblouir's though.

Yeah, I just went back and re-read your thread. I need to find a spare set of heads and get this done by the guy that did your set.

Great Job! Lookin great!
In some areas they do, in some they don't. The FXRs output is just as wide or wider than the TLs. TLs have a slightly brighter hot spot while the FXR hotspot is a little more spread out it seems. The TLs light up the fore-ground a lot better though. Keep in mind that if you are comparing a TL projector with a 6000k bulb to a FXR projector with a 4300k bulb, that is not a apples to apples comparison.

And Windsor, yes the FXR is a bi-xenon projector and has one of the best high-beam outputs I've ever seen.

I second that. The high beams are insane!

That's insane Matt! I would love these, but I would be afraid about a bulb or ballast going out and then being stuck

The bulbs have 4x the life expectancy of the factory halogens, and the ballasts are OEM quality and are 100% waterproof.

That's something I forgot to mention. ^^

The quality of everything in the Stage III kit was unbelievable. I don't foresee myself having any problems unless it's my fault (wiring, etc).

Driver's headlight is back in the oven. Fixing rotational issue tonight if it's not raining.

Did you do everything the same as the first bake? You made it look so easy I will probably go this route to fix mine. Or I might change everything about mine and add some paint. Only if it was easy to get them open again.

Yep exactly the same. Preheat oven to 250, turn it off, put headlight in for 10 mins, pull it out. Rinse and repeat, if necessary. I only had to do it once and the whole thing just pulled apart. I would guess because the majority of the new RTV I added was on the exterior....just as a bead to prevent condensation.
