Little puzzled by the trim, cant say I remember a two tone lariat with chrome bumpers, not to mention that paint scheme. Maybe its the picture but can you provide some history or am I just overlooking something?

Assuming its in good condition and I am wrong about the trim, I say go a little higher as its looks should attract buyers and throw in OBO and take no lower than KBB unless your hurting to get rid of it.

13k for trade if your lucky IMO. we traded in our 06 lariat and got 13k with 90k miles. truck prices are inflated right now so it's possible to get it for sure.

You probably won't be able to get KBB for it the way gas prices are going up. KBB is always behind. Go get a quote from Carmax and go from there. I'm guessing anything over 12k is gonna be gravy.

carmax will low ball him, any aftermarket parts on a vehicle carmax removes and puts back to stock so they take away what you would get since they have to do all that work and buy new parts.

alot of dealers have autotrader appraisal on their website now and i think it says your guranteed xxx price but puts your truck in a certain range. they put my 05 f250 at 17,500 but the range was like $173488-20,4xx IIRC. i ended up right in the middle for trade, it also means you can sell your truck to them for that price and not have to buy one either. also alot of dealers are using blackbook? for price as well. go to all of the major price places (kbb, edmunds, etc) and get a price and see how they all stack up. if you can get average of those trade in prices i'd be happy

Carmax will lowball him, as will any dealer right now. I only suggested it as an easy way just to help find out where you stand. NADA Black is about the closest to reality, the only thing more timely are auction sheets.

Thanks guys,

Despite the look this truck is not two tone. Its the way the light hits it, it almost looks black in some instances.

Right now I got offered 11k at a used family owned car lot, I politely declined that, and was told 12,400 by the original dealer even if it was stock. So I'd do that if they could find me a truck. Otherwise I listed it for $14500 on a few local forums. May post on autotrader for $16000 OBO

go to multiple dealers. some will lowball the hell out of you, and some will suprise you with their first offer. i was getting offered 13 & 14 at a few dealers, while some were offering 19. i think alot depends on if they are going to sell it on their lot or auction it off.

I would list it for around 18-19K from what I have seen in my area....and then bargain down to a 15.5-16.5 range or so.

You are probably running lean with that aftermarket CAI and canned tunes as well.

Your best bet is to find someone who wants the truck with the mods and is willing to pay extra for them vs doing them on their own.

Just noticed its a 4x2....I would grade it for 17-18K and take 14-15.5 for it

It also depends on what they plan on selling you a new vehicle for. A lot of dealers will give you an inflated trade-in offer and not budge off MSRP for the new one.

you mean like $1200 below invoice and got what i wanted for trade?

certain dealers will give you what you want, from what i saw it was the larger dealers who were able to offer up more, the smaller dealers couldn't afford to do that and were the ones offering up 5k below trade value. also don't go in there thinking you are going to get your private party price, go in there w/ what reasonable trade value (from research) and stick to your guns. there WILL be a dealer who wants your business.
