GOOD!

But, save up a hundred or so, and go get your handles & mirror caps PTM, it really makes a nice difference . I don't know whether to buy textured handles and PTM them or have my stockers painted and the chrome grab handles left ( Mark LT/Platinum style ).

I am one of those guys that would. I hate chrome. But I 'deal and learn to deal with it . That is, until I have the funds to get this done, which I am half way there at the moment..

Thanks! I'd like to get them PTM'd but want to wait until I get new wheel's/tires so I'll have a better idea what it'll look like with everything painted.

I think if you get new handles you should PTM the buckets and leave the handle chrome, like in your second pic.

I don't want anything that's going to involve wiring I think my next investment is going to be 18x9 XD Monster 778 with +18 offset and GoodYear Duratrac's in a 295/65/18 or 33x12.5 Toyos, I can't decide.

Is that "black paint" you want on all the chrome bumpers and step up bars or is that "black Line-X"? I would think the black Line-X with the granulated rubber added for skid resistance would be great on the bars while maybe without better on bumpers and lower rockers?

Oh, I know, .... two F-150s, two T-Birds, a Merc GM, a Forester, and only my '77 F150 has a chrome bumper on it. It's been painted several times and I hope it has another paint job soon, but that's 1977 Chrome still on the front bumper.
These newer style trucks with bumpers blended in so smoothly look great either way, but Chrome is still more durable .... as long as it doesn't flake / peel / fall off that is.
My '07 would look "OK" with Chrome bumpers, but it certainly looks better with the color matched DSGrey.

Newer bumpers seem thinner, I guess y'all sand blast the chrome off or ..... ???

Hey Matt. LOVE what you've done with your truck! I think it's very cool to see all the steps that went into getting her to where she is now. From de-modding it to the mods you've done yourself, you've done a fantastic job!

*Pssst....take off those pinstripes though!*

Again, great job!

Thank you Dewser! When it's all said and done I'd like it to have a similar stance to your truck.

With that tire/wheel combo, you're well on your way to an almost exact stance as mine. I have the same wheels, but I'm running the 295/70/18 Trail Grapplers.

Got a new camera so I had to try it out It was 65* today so I got it cleaned up. Sure is nice having a beater car, I've only put 600 miles on the truck in the last 2 months.
