Here was the project tonight. Didn't turn out as well as I hoped but didn't turn out too bad.

That's the glare from the flash on the bottom, not chrome showing through.

I don't think I like my Nittos all that much. They look squished on the bottom. I guess the side wall isn't as strong as some. I am running 35psi(before anybody suggests lack of air). Did you ever get a price on removing that chrome? I think it would make the truck look immensely better. Just my .02

I love my Nittos so far. I have 36 PSI in them right now. I haven't priced getting the chrome taken off.......yet. I'm thinking one weekend when it's nice I'm going to try and do it myself. If it's as big of a headache as I think it's going to be then I'm going to get a price on getting it removed. It's the one part of the truck I absolutley despise.

I'm thinking of wrapping all the chrome in the interior with Carbon Fiber wrap to match the piece around the radio. The chrome around the air vents, the two pieces on the shifter and the door handles. Not real sure how it would look though. I don't really want it to look too "aftermarket".

Nice job on the hitch cover. Have any ideas on painting the skull caps? or do you think you might leave those as is?

I just saw your post Svets. I'm thinking I'll be painting the skull caps and handles someday. Not on the top of the list right now.

Here's what I did today. Went and got some RusFree from the auto parts store. Was going to take all the flares off and put it on to keep the rust away. I did the front drivers side fender and decided that this project will have to wait for another day when I have all new clips.
You can see where the flare rubs on the fender.

Great Idea Matt, glad you haven't had any surprises so far under the flares

Thanks John. I think I'm going to do to bottoms of the doors on the inside too. The paint is peeling off there.

Camopaint, heck no! Do you think I got an FX4 to offroad?

I really don't offroad with my truck though, it's strictly a street queen and the furthest off road it's been is my driveway.

Here's the latest mod. Less weight, better gas mileage right?

I don't know about the pin stripe. Never gave that much thought.
