Of course, once you add the chrome (or mirror polished stainless steel) rocker covers ...
... it's just gonna scream for chrome front and rear bumpers.

There are guys who would actually trade their chrome bumpers for chrome free ready to prime and paint bumpers.

 

The only thing I like better about the chrome bumpers is they don't chip, at least as easily. I'd rather have the painted bumpers though.

 

I know .... just yankin' your chain. I like chrome on some, and some look grand painted. I almost had a '07 or 8 Scab Styleside Lariet with PTM Leer 7000 in what looked like that pearl triple coat with chrome, but someone beat me to it.

I have seen a couple with peeling chrome though?

I hit a small deer with this one in August, only part replaced was the bumper, got rid of all them chips! Now have a perfect DSG frt bumper and they painted the piece above it (cover?).

Been following this thread along some now and again ...... sure is a sharp truck you have!

 

I came really close to hitting a big buck a few weeks ago. Never thought about getting my front end painted if I would have hit it instead of stopping

Thanks! I still want to get new wheels for it but I can't decide if I want the Rouge or XD Monsters and go up to 285's or 295's. I've also been looking at Gibson cat back exhaust's. I think that will be the next thing I do. If I have to look at these goofy exhaust pipes on mine any longer I'm going to trade it in

 

Got it all washed, waxed and the inside cleaned out the other day. Not much has changed other than I put Stealth turn signal bulbs in a few weeks ago. Just felt like taking some pics.
