16 inch lift on a Raptor? Dear lord, might as well go buy a Shelby and put a 4cylinder Kia motor in it

for this stupidity.

why not sell the raptor and buy a different truck to lift 16" and look as terribly stupid as the other street queen that BnC made

your talking about the raptor being a street truck but you really expect a 16" IFS truck to not be?????

What he is doing is no different than people who put audio systems and big rims and tires on sports cars...that extra weight can drastically change the way the vehicle handles and the overall performance, but I don't see people screaming at them for being stupid and retarted...give the guy a break, hes doing something that has never been done before and its going to look sick. Plus I would bet 99% of people who own a raptor will never use it for what its built for anyway, but instead bought it because its different and looks amazing...from what I can tell most of yall are jealous of this guy because he works hard and can afford to buy a truck and dump money into it without a problem while most of you dont make what its going to cost him in a year...

So is this professional truck set up right? Maybe you can tell me. Or I will listen to Robby Gordon.

i cant believe how much some people on this post are whining about this lifted raptor! it will be the first of its kind, its gonna look sick! its no different than any mods you do to your truck. every one on here has moded there truck and im sure there are people that dont like what you have done... so lets just move on and look forward to seeing this raptor completed! p.s. i like how this all started with a 12 rize lift for sale and got to this...

Ok, you had me for about 45 seconds until I noticed a lack of suspension shadows on the back of the car. I must be really slow today.

Ford did race one, however they didnt tell you they stripped a stock Raptor down to the frame and replaced EVERYTHING and then raced it. the fact is, it is cool looking, but no different than a stock 4x4 F150 with 35" tires.
If I lifted a truck like that I sure wouldn't be racing around much. They made it wider instead of taller to keep a better CoG. And you're right, the race truck was not a stock Raptor.

OP, people give me crap CONSTANTLY because I've over 6 off road lights, what looks like a small lift and a variety of off road equipment in the back when my truck is only 2wd...but it sees more dirt, gravel and mud than most any other lifted truck out here. As long as you make use of your mods to hell with what other people say.

Build the truck for your application and use it. Some of us mod our trucks to look pretty between points A and B, others of us mod our trucks to get to point C. How far do you plan on going?

on this next video your telling me a normal 150 can handle this:

your right...normal 150s make the raptor look like a little ranger...jk

Well we found idiot #2.

Go full on long travel if you want to be different, not 16 inches of lift on a truck built to be a chase vehicle.

Lift a regular f150 16" not a truck designed to actually be useful. If your lifting 16 inches I'd go ahead with a solid front axle to be "different" and spend all of that money you are talking about.

The Raptor is an awesome truck. If I had one I would change nothing with the suspension whatsoever.

But its his truck, let him do what he wants. Anxiously awaiting pics of this thing, this thread reminds me of that one guy on here who put stacks on his V6 2wd F150.

these threads are beginning to be more and more pointless. just last week he was wanting to SAS his 04-08 (that he hasn't bought yet). doubt it will ever happen.
