Ya I wanna see this too. Kinda got on your back cuz it seemed like the you were looking for something else out of the raptor and then you started knocking it like it wasn't any different than any other f150

Who gives a **** if this guy wants to lift a Raptor. I think the Raptor looks kinda gay as it sits and would look great lifted.

40's??....doesnt the raptor come stock with 35's?....im thinking 16 inches of lift might make a 40 look tiny

The raptor body looks alot better and more aggressive than the regular f150's IMO, So it will look good.

I don't understand how the people saying not to do it are hypocrites. Please explain...

1) give you credit it will look Bada$$
2) you are stupid for doing it because you buy the raptor for the suspension and your replacing it.....
3) at least go bigger on the tires they will look small

Its incredible how upset people are getting over what someone else is doing to their truck. Can't wait to see this thing finished. I saw a thread on a raptor with a 3 inch body lift and 36 iroks on 20s and it looked outstanding, so yours should be drop dead gorgeous.

Its going to be 6 to 8 week before I can get my Raptor to Texas, have the lift installed and get it back.

By the way I have the Tuxedo Black with the 6.2L SVT Raptor and will be the first 16" lifted Raptor running 40's
Yea Okay, - By the way, - I doubt anyone would trust you after seeing this thread. - 40's ? That's not too bad, - but a 16" lift ? That will ruin it IMO. I think someone already said, - what a waste that would be.

Iduno, it's sort of a strange kind of stupid IMO.

Well - good luck on the sale regardless..

Yea, Honest!

Yea 35's, -That's what I was thinking, Shoot I had 9" of lift with 44's. An older Ford, but still, - 16 ?!?!? Don't get me wrong, I like lifted trucks, always have.

Oh hey , I have a pic of my old Ford w 9" Lift/44's. New Hawgs on Center Lines. At least I have a pic lol.

I stopped reading at page two. Seriously guys, he's not lifting a limited edition mustang. It's a truck. It's his truck. Quit bashing him because you wouldn't do it.

I'm interested to see what it looks like.

i guess i understand it if you use it for things other than desert racing. i mean if you dont live in california, there really arent that many places to tear up the dunes. here in VA im sure there is not many places within a 6 hour drive that i could go desert racing. if there were, i would build a prerunner truck in an instant.

16 inches might be a bit extreme however.

so why would people not trust him? because he wants to lift his truck? he will need around at least a 13 to 14 inch lift to clear the tires good. 16 is just for good measure and will look good. so what.

44 inch hawgs run smaller than my 41 inch iroks just so you know. they're know for running small. i've actually had a set that i rolled up to my tires.
