Welp finally going to get this fixed. Started to bubble about a year ago. I was buffin the side of the truck my fuel door and some more of the paint chipped off and was visable with fuel door shut. I touched it up with some paint but now it to is chipping off and getting worse.

Talked to my body shop guy yesterday to see how much it will be. I will have pics of it up shortly. I hate RUST. I feel that even though it is getting fixed it will be back.. Gotta love IL winters.

Any one else have the problem lately there was a thread from a cpl years go, just seeing since the trucks are old if there is alot of other people. Two other people from where i live and know have it to.

05 f150 with 55,000 miles.

 

05 f150 and the paint start falling off right below the gas cap. I stuck silicone on the area and it has been holding since. Its covered by the fuel door so I can live with it...

Mine's the same way. Going to get it taken care of this summer maybe.

633. seemed kinda high to me. Gonna have to sand down quite a bit, bead blast it and spary the whole bed side and get new 4x4 sticker and pin stripe and also but double sided 3M tape around the plastic to help keep from vibration and causing issue again.

Im not sure If i am going to fix it or trade it in. I have been looking for quite sometime at getin a used 09-10. I have the supercab and want the true 4 doors, and I am loving the new body stlyes.
