front receiver hitch
just got a winch and looking to buy or build a front receiver hitch to hook it up to on my 2005 fx4
the only ones i can find for my model f150 online have the hitch below the bumper but i am wanting one that comes out of the gap in the bumper like on the older f150 and f250

i have seen one like this on my model truck but do not know whether it was purchased or custom built
does anybody have ideas where or if i can buy one like this or if anyone else has made one of these?

I would like to do this to my truck but I don't think it would be practical to try to pull a boat out in reverse up a slippery ramp with my lil 4.6 SuperCab with 3.55 open diff. Maybe on a heavier or 4x4 truck, but I don't think it would be a good application for my current ride.

Best thing ever is when you have your hitch on the front sticking out and the girl on roller skates at sonic trips over it and drinks and food go flying

The old man that had my truck got the front reciever installed to put his boat in the water. He had neck problems and it was easier for him to put it in the water than backing it in. I have used it to put my trailer in tight places and it works awesome.

So Coy, would use a truck with my set-up for a boat launcher, or is it safer to just back it in/pull it out of the water? I would like to do it, just not sure if my truck is beefy enough (and I know I could bulk up the gears, etc. to get it there) for such folly.

Best price I've ever seen for these trucks. I may have to jump on one!
