Are the mirror glass pieces the same size on the '11s as on the '04-'08s? Want to put mirrors with the integrated trailer blind spot mirror on my '08 STX, but the Ford dealership parts guy said they wouldn't work....
I just have the power mirrors on my truck, no heated, power fold or anything like that.

I don't think the glass is the same, the best option there would be to just swap some 2009 power mirrors in that have the blind spot mirror.
I actually really like this idea, anyone know how much new 2009+ mirrors are?

Not bad for $220 shipped. This may be on my Christmas list

Think I'm going to measure mine versus the '11...I'm sure the clips are placed differently but a basic mirror glass swap shouldn't be difficult. My passenger side mirror actually doesn't have the clips anymore, and it seems to be held on more securely than my driver's side with the clips.
Reckon I'll measure then let you guys know what I find out.
