Adding resistor to parking bulb, no red wire??
Hello all,
I just recently replaced my parking lights (3157) with a set of led's.
Now I have rapid blinkers, so I'm going to install a set of resistors. Question is as I have never done this? There's 3 wires behind the bulb, black, brown and white with a stripe. I've read that the resistor goes inline, red to red black to black, but I don't have a red wire?
Do I just go black to black and red to the brown wire?
Thanks guys! I am so bothered by this rapid blinker so any help is appreciated!!!

Just installed the relay and took all of about 20 seconds.
All I did was hit the blinker to identify the relay, pulled it down, unplugged it and re plugged the new relay and presto! Normal blinker again!
Thanks again 88! This is way better than splicing a resistor that heats up.
I'm stoked now that I can keep my LED's in. The parking lights look like a piece of jewelry, they sparkle like diamonds! Lol
