lights behind grill

I decided to do the lights behind the grill mod the other day, so I ordered my lights. I ordered kc 130 watt 6 inch daylighters. I built the metal light holder using the how to guide on this forum...
https://www.f150online.com/forums/ar...step-step.html
However I noticed that the rack was a little wobbly. So I came up with a solution I thought I would share with everyone. I twisted some extra metal so that I could bolt the rack onto a mount near the headlight on each side. I had to cut a small slit into the rubber protecting the wiring behind the headlights but I think it came out great. The rack is rock solid now with no wobbling.

Also I am very happy with the lights, I found them on ebay for about 134 dollars brand new shipped. They are extremely bright...

The headlights are completely stock
Lights behind grill are kc daylighters 130 watt
Lights on bull bar are westin 55 watt

Looks good! I did that over the Christmas break as well. I was trying to do something like what you did on the sides to secure it elsewhere since it was a little too wobbly for my liking, but I couldn't find a good spot to bolt it.

If you peel back the protective rubber by the headlights there is a bolt like what you used for the bottom 2 pieces you can bolt into

Sweet! I like the way the ones behind the grill look with the ones on the bull bar.
