I bought a 2008 F150. Pretty basic truck. There is a phone button near the radio controls. Does it actually work? All I get out of it is No Phone. I turned on the blue tooth on my phone but they don't sync

 

Higher trim trucks (Lariat and above) had the option of Mobile-Ease, a Bluetooth hands-free set-up. On lower trim vehicles, the button only mutes the radio. I looked, and it is a $400 part at the dealership.

 

the phone feature has to be unlocked in order to use it. if you hold 3 and 6 on the radio at the same time it sends you in to a menu were you can check whats unlocked. i have no idea where to get it unlocked at. been searching. hope this help. i just bought the i simple for my truck. works fine. but i might be selling it with the radio. lol i like the new kenwood dnx9990hd. my cousin has it and i like it.
