2004 Lariat Gauge Cluster Swapped. What Is this warning light???

Hey Everyone,
I have a question that i hope someone can figure out. I recently replaced my gauge cluster since mine began to not work. (Something was wrong with one of the plugins causing the radio, windows and lighting not to work) Ford said to replace the cluster and they wanted 1,200.00 I laughed and left. I found one on E-bay that came out of a king ranch. The guy was unsure of what year and miles So i said what the hell, 50.00 is worth a shot. Only bad thing was it was the KM version. I went ahead and switched the gauge outline from my original gauge cluster to the new cluster. That went well.
So i plugged it in after putting everything back together and it worked great. I found out it only has 14,000 Miles but that i don't as i have no intention of selling my truck and i do all maintenance myself.

The main question i have is it has a warning light that i am unsure of? I believe its the "wait to start" indicator for diesels, but i have never seen a diesel with this cluster. I put a picture to see if anyone can help me. Thanks for the help.

Exactly what year and model is that cluster out of? I've downloaded several owner's manuals and haven't come across that cluster yet.

That would be a glow plug / wait to start light.

I've never seen that light in either my '04 or '05 Lariats.

Why would there be a glow plug/ wait to start light in a gas powered F150?

Weird!

Because the cluster is out of a king ranch, but a diesel F150 would be pretty bad ***...hint hint ford.

Yes a diesel F150 would be nice.

Funny I think I read somewhere awhile back that Ford was considering a smaller displacement diesel option for the F150 in the near future.

Yeah its gone back and forth for quite some time, it was supposed to be a V8 diesel of some kind, I've heard of and seen pictures of a few conversions too. I think the ecoboost stole the limelight though <-- I wouldn't mind one of those either though ....maybe my next one.

Yea i looked and downloaded every manual and i cant find this cluster ANYWHERE for a diesel. I just found it weird that i have a wait to start light. The guy i bought the cluster from is not sure what year truck it came out of he was certain that it came out of a King Ranch.

Another question i have.. since i switched over to this cluster my A/C does not work AT ALL. Does this have something to do with that. I have never switched a cluster before but hey i seem to be learning new things about my truck each time a do something ha-ha.

Thanks for the help everyone!!!!

Its because the King Ranch trucks all had the automatic climate control. You need to get the cluster flashed at a dealer to recognize your manual A/C

hmm i have automatic climate control as well. I have a lariat and it has every feature available when it was new. Everything else works great, but my A/C just doesn't want to work. Go figure its supposed to be 96 and really humid tomorrow!

I thought they always had to be reflashed for the PCM to recognize the new cluster and to set the odemeter correctly.
