Wanting to know how our trucks are holding up as they age. Mine has low mileage. Been pretty good. Just replaced the passenger side window motor. Went out for no reason at all. Did the drivers side a year ago. Fearing the 2 rear windows are next.
Any problems I get to look forward to?

'06 with 108k. Rearend bearings went bad at 93k and were replaced at 96k. I drove it 3k with a howling rearend.
Other than that no major issues, just a few minor issues, mainly electrical parts. Still all original suspension and steering parts and even the original Motorcraft battery.
I bought it at 48k.

04 with 122k. Both rear axle seals replaced for leaking. Timing chain tensioner seal blew out and had 2 broken guides, put in new phasers when in there. Third brake light leak fixed with silicone. Broken front coil spring. Replaced both front sway bar links and one outer tie rod as well but those just wear out over time.

I replaced the illumination bulb for the odometer a few days ago and a couple years ago replaced a fog light bulb.
Did find a nearly chewed through wire at FPDM last year when checking my FPDM after running across a thread here the day after a trip home from Georgia, cleaned my FPDM up, coated it, spaced it off frame, good.
I also did have to repair fuel high pressure line and vapor return line after found a fuel leak when running, discovered squirrel teeth marks.
That's it .... original shocks, brakes, links, even two tires are original at 40K.

04 F150 w/ 80k. Since January, I have replaced 1 window regulator (previous owner said he had replaced one too), passenger side exhaust manifold (had a leak, gasket failed). Now I am going to have to replace the timing chain tensioners. Rattle on cold start FTL. Other than that, its going strong, but do expect to replace a few things as this was the first model year of this body style. by 08, they had alot of things addressed and fixed.
