Yeah .... I remember that deal, I recall they wanted to total it. I knew it wasn't that bad, they wanted to part it out. I was glad you fixed it, being as it was your baby and all. Seems as the kid had no insurance maybe .... glad it worked so well.

Truck looks Great!

My 05 has 97500+ miles as of today. Bought the truck new in November of 05 got a good deal on it since it was one of the last few 05 on the lot. It was the last regular cab with a V8 that they had of the 05's. Other than the fuel injector deal the truck has been great.

My '05 XLT had 113,700 (had 58,000 on it when I bought it in 2009) when I traded it for my '09 XLT with 49,000 on it. I had added a receiver hitch on it, trailer brake control, Kenwood DNX7180 head unit. I put the factory radio back in and kept the Kenwood and plan to put it in the '09 along with the TT mirror upgrade and a few other mods. Great tips and tricks on here. Been reading this off and on for about a year, but I finally joined recently and figured I might help others when the time comes.

63800 on my '06. Researching spark plug change...not a single issue other than being rear-ended twice and replacing the drivers power window switches. Great truck!
