Has this been done?

I have the Black and Tan Lariat. Has anyone painted all of the tan before to just make it an all black truck? Either professionally or done themselves either-or will help. Just something I'm pondering on this crappy Sunday evening.

Most definitely possible, it's been done. Most end up putting a spray on bedliner on the rockers.

I almost did that last year. Painter said a professional paint job like that would require repainting all panels where beige is at to fully seal the new paint job. I've seen where the beige is only painted and it doesn't hide the line or the clear is blended in. Either way I was quoted 2100 to repaint the truck, decided against it and glad i didn't because the beige really stand out. If you do a diy job, you may want to consider some sort of bedliner texture.

Then again my paint is metallic. A solid paint like black may be easier to blend in then a metallic color.

Guys who do the bedline have line-x do it and add in the Xtra. Looks great, just don't think I prefer that over painted surfaces
