6" rough country lift

So I'm fixing to lift my truck in about a month or so and I've got some questions. I'm leaning towards the rough country lift for obvious price reasons, but is it worth it? I've also heard that the 6" rough country lift isn't actually 6", supposedly it's 5? What do y'all think? I'm new to the site also, so hows it going my fellow F150 drivers

I've got the 6" Rough Country and love it ..... I have not actually measured it but using the drop hitch as a guide I went 6"

Here is links to my thread and some pictures ... the before and after in the fist thread still amazes me lol

Looks awesome! Yeah it's pretty amazing how a lift will change the look completely. How much did the lift and install run ya? I need to start calling places and getting some quotes.

Thank you very much!

I cant even remember now .... the whole thing was around $4,000 and that was without any labor becasue I did everything myself including the tires. I think the best deal is to call Rough Country and ask if they can work with you a little .... I ordered the kit through Top Gun Customz and they just had it dropped shipped and the shocks came from them.

I also did shocks all around with extended shocks in the front so I did not have to use the spacers that came in the kit.

i have a rough country. The kit only drops your suspension down 5" but the lift spacer is 6" . so it's a 6" lift but it leaves your angles as if you had a 1" level on a stock truck if that makes sense, so if you ever wanted to add on to the lift the most you could do is a 1" spacer, if you swapped the spacer out for bilsteins that is. heres pics of what i'm talking about.
