Box dimensions for the JL Audio 13TW5 sub only. (Coming soon)
Wireing diagram (coming soon)
First step of wireing was to run the cable from the battery into a Fuse holder.
Then run the cable from the fuse to a hole that is already in the bulkhead that has a rubber gromit filling it. My pic shows the cable already through the hole. You can just make out the blue cable in the center of the pic going through the bulkhead.
Then you may be lucky when you push the cable through and see it in the passenger footwell on the right hand side.
Run the cable all the way from the front of the truck to the rear behind the kick panel on passenger right lower side then under door sill plates in front and back. They will just pop off and back on. They take a bit of a tug to get off but they go back on very easy.
I then run the cable under the carpet to where it comes out next to the factory harness. This is also a good time to fit the ground. I fitted the ground as close to the factory wireing as i could. I drilled the ground next to one of the subs original monting holes and the pic below shows how close.
Then i run a cable from inside center console under carpet for the bass control dial. You can use just standard telephone cable.

Will do. I will try and take some dimensions as well so if this box fits it will make it bit easier for you guys not to have to mess with all this stuff. The box hat was designed for the truck in the shop was to thick and when you sat on the seat it pushed the under side of the seat into the speaker!

I have had good luck Elemental Designs. I used to buy JL exclusively, but these guys are really EASY to work with and are willing to help.
Here is a link to their shallow mount sub and it has some good reviews:

I have an aftermarket JL sub in the back under the seat of my supercrew...had a custom box built and didnt need to spend the kind of money your going to drop on that shallow mount jl sub. The JL sub i have isnt a shallow mount, in fact the only shallow mount id go with is exile or that jl(the one your looking at). Unless your really into your music(i know how you feel) you can find a better deal than dropping 3-4 hundred on that sub
