What are the differences in the raptor and fx4 traction controls??

As far as fuses go, they are the same. As far as system functionality, they are not. We were both right, or wrong. Fuse 36. Fuse 47 is for the motor, which would also set a fault to effectively disable ABS/TC/ESC/RSC functions.
Sideways over 35mph on some dunes is nothing. Thankfully I don't have ESC/RSC on my ATVs!

glad I asked - I figured I had to be missing something (and it's pages 321 & 322 in my manual; guess I should've kept reading)-thanks!
if this is the case, wouldn't it be possible to get the plate for the Raptor and wire the off-road button in to cut power to fuse 47 and have a nice clean way of doing this while adding auxillary switches? Does anyone know if the off-road button functions as an on/off switch or if it's momentary?

i personally hate the rsc and i put the leveling kit and if i make a slight down hill turn alittle fast the rsc kicks in and if iam not ready its almost wrecked me i pulled fuse #36 but the abs and brake light is on in the dash will that mess anything up in the truck driveing it like that and i would also like to know if the panel from the raptor fits in the fx4 thx

i removed #36 and my abs and brake light was on didnt wanna risk driving it like that trying to find out if it will hurt it or not i agree on it being very unsafe maybe good for some one that needs a nanny to drive with them but im use to counter steering and i hate the rsc

I ran around with it out at the dunes for a while and didn't seem to have any problems. I have heard, though I have not verified, that you cannot shift into 4lo if you pull the fuse. I was told that it disabled the wheel speed sensor that is used to verify your speed to allow the shift.
So I have to deal with annoying lights on in the dash

I will verify tomorrow as I also will be pulling it. I am used to steering with the go pedal and this TCS/ESC/RSC is some dangerous ****. Granted I am sure for some it's a blessing but when you spend your saturday nights running 75-80 MPH sideways on clay and actually know how to drive it is a hazard and very frustrating.

Edit, Fuse #36 Disables all ABS/TC/ESC/RSC functions including and the ability of 4 low, I even attempted shutting the truck off and selecting low with the ignition on before restarting and even this will not allow it. I would NOT recommend anyone do this mod as it may be harmfull or fatal but, My fuse for #36 will remain in the glove compartment untill spring Nothing like 4HI drifting sideways around a snow covered 45MPH curve at 60MPH. Absolutly on a closed course.
