the outside lines of the headlamps on the second concept work very well with the lines of the hood and wheelwells...i'm not feeling the first concept with the upturned corners of the lamps--very similar to the current trends, ie toyota, dodge, and cause the front end to read a bit flat

very cool idea for a thread too, nice work

jbmx - nice work, they both look good...but can anyone verify if the '09 model will be a complete rework (like the '04 was) or just a freshening like jbmx's pic suggest? I like to see Ford leap ahead like they did with the '04. jbmx's renderings look nice - but still too close to current offerings from Ford and others. I'm thinking of trading my '05 Lariat Screw 4x4 - but would need more of a difference than just a "refresh" to make the plunge. I also hope to see Ford work out some of the gremlen's in the engine/tranny management programming, the driveline lashing/clunking in general and improve the responsiveness of the current drivetrain combo....I have a tuner and CAI on mine which helped a lot - but before that - it was really lethargic - felt like the truck weighed 10K lbs. Also, improved egronomics/storage would be nice...some sort of interior storage area for tools, tie downs, etc would be nice and an underbed lockable storage, better and more tie downs, rear bed power point - all the things that make you appreciate a vehicle. The current F-150 is pretty good - but a few improvements would really make a better truck. JMO - comments/ future model information appreciated!!
