F-150 or Chevy - Which Do You Like Better?
I love Ford F-150's so I won't even dignify this with an actual response. Dodge is supposed to have some cajones in the styling department and it looks like a boring Toyota Tundra. Or more boring.
The actual question should be, the Ford or the Chevy? They actually compete on a pretty level sales field and will most likely still be in business in five years. (Did I say that?)

Right now, Chevy . If ford brings out the cahoneys with the big BOSS ill be back in a ford, when i get out of my current truck, im going to an edge for a short bit to save on $$ then gettin back into a truck into a 2 door silverado z71 . People talk about ford hitting a homerun with this 09 150, i think chevy hit a home run with the current silverado

I'm assuming you're throwing GMC in there as well and I know the Denali has been mentioned in other threads, but the truck I want is a combination of both. The engine and tranny of the Denali, the Exterior is almost a toss up but I think I'd side w/ the Denali, and hands down the interior of the Ford.
Wait a second in about a year we'll almost have that perfect truck. 6.2 liter BOSS, 6 speed tranny, the perfect interior, and almost the perfect exterior. SOLD!!!

Ford has the better interior by far, and you'd be hard pressed to find very many other categories where Chevy is better than Ford. I know Chevy's get better mileage, but a lot of that is because you literally get a lot more truck with a Ford, so it's naturally going to weigh more and get a little worse mileage. There is not a big difference though. The Chevy is a nice truck, but the F150 is the clear winner to me.

Personally, I'd like a truck that rides and handles like a car when unloaded, yet has the capacity to handle a hefty load, be it cargo or towing. My F150 can definately handle the load-carrying aspect of it, but it rides rough (and it's just a 2WD). But I have stout shocks & LT tires on it to handle the load of my travel trailer.
Worst of all my compliants is the comfort of my seats. They are the most uncomfortable seats that I've ever sat in. They have next to zero lateral support. I think it was better when I had the cloth seats (before I put on the leathers), because at least then there was a little traction to keep you in place. The seats are wide, which is great, but offer no support for me.

I've owned two Chevs. With my second Chev, I claimed 8 grand in extended warranty service and it still wasn't fixed when I got rid of it. My first one puffed blue smoke on a cold start right from the showroom floor. Customer servive was poor, at best, but I knew all the guys in the garage at Holland Chev Olds on a first name basis I was there so often.
I'd be looking for an XLT, or possibly FX4 with the flow through console; basically what I have now, but in the new bodystyle. The new XLT interior is sharp:
