I was at the charity preview last night and one of the Platinum editions on display apparently has a black tri-coat paint that is only available on this edition. It has metallic flecks in it that the flat black does not. The interactive display truck is a Lariat which is in the traditional flat black and the difference is quite noticable. I asked the Ford guide assigned to the interactive truck to confirm this difference in paints which he did. Although he didn't seem all too informed on it, he did go check with someone (not sure who) and explained that this metallic black will only be available on the Platinum edition. Looks very nice. I tried taking a picture with my phone, but it really doesn't show it well.
