Which danger-ranger? I'm familiar w/ Ali Mansour's in Peterson's 4WD magazine.

2.5" AS and 305/65R18 on 18x9 Moto Metal 951s. I have no idea how much total lift that gave me, but it is noticeable. I run the tires at about 45 PSI... I don't know what it would be if I aired them up to the full 65 lbs.

I've got one brochure left, if anyone is interested. Who knows, might be worth something someday.

It's not just the grill though. It looks like Ford hired a group of designers fresh out of university, then gave them the job of redesigning the best selling truck in North America. I don't think they missed a single geometric shape on the front of this truck.

Thats exactly what I said in my first post about the '09 F150 a few weeks ago. Its just too busy and doesn't flow IMO. If they dump the bumperettes, install a solid front bumper, and replace the round fog lights with rectangle shape ones it would do wonders to clean the front end up. Then we would need to attack that monstrous grill.

I knew I saw that somewhere. A solid bumper and rectangle fogs would definitely help. I remember seeing that though, that's right, it's on the front of my '04.

Seeing it in person is much better, even than the pics. We had the King Ranch on display in Houston. My dad took his card reader to Tulsa, but I'll be able to upload the pics tomorrow night. It was very elegant, undoubtedly upscale.

So Im guessing most of you do not like the new F250's either? Looks to me like they got a few design ideas from it. To me it looks great. Looks basically the same truck just with a face lift. Deffinately still looks like the F150 everyone has come to love over the last 4 years.

Sadly, I don't even think that will help.

No, for the most part I don't care too much for the looks of the current trucks. But I do like this new '09, somehow they got it to not look so big and heavy.

...

The seats are still too shallow for tall people. My biggest gripe with my F-150 is that the seats aren't roomy enough for someone with long legs (about 6'3") and it looks as though they didn't do anything to remedy this situation for the '09's. I'm really teetering on getting a new truck, due to the lack of comfort in mine, but I was gonna wait to see the '09 F-150 and it looks as though I may be heading elsewhere for a truck. Unfortunate, because I really like my truck, other than that.

Disappointing...

I think the 04-08 is one of the best looking trucks by any manufacturer in recent history. Ford had a front runner and was faced with a challenge, a new generation to replace the best selling version ever... I think they tried to change too much, without changing enough. I am not a fan of the looks and was originally worried that I would have to trade my 07 for an 09. I'm not worried anymore, I'm sure it'll grow on me a little bit (as most new generations cars/trucks tend to do) but I'm glad I have mine and will be pulling all the stops for the mods! Overall I am disappointed by it.

Nice to see that it "looks" like they raised the seats up off the ground and angled the seat bottom back some.

Like the pre-04 F150s, those were some comfortable seats.
