Cool 2009 MY F-150 and Oxford White exterior

Question: Who likes the color Oxford White on the F-150? I do, but it appears that Ford may not offer it on the 2009 MY (P415). If you like the color. Please send a note to:
crcfmc@ford.com
and let them know how you feel. To me, not to offer Oxford White would be a grave mistake.

Thanks for your help!

If it's not oxford white then it'll be some other shade. There's no way Ford won't make a white F-150. Won't happen - ever.

A lot of times they offer the same actual color under different names too...

But, it is very possible that what we know and love as "Oxford White" will no longer be legal and they may need to use a new paint due to changing regulations

The chemical composition. There are numerous governmental agencies that have very strict laws about what chemicals can be used to make the paint. My neighbor is a contractor and explained how the quality of paint has gone to hell and the prices are through the roof for all kinds of paints because all the "good stuff" isn't legal any more.

Talking Numbers from Ford

The Ford customer service people actually called and informed me directly on the number of 2007 MY F-150s were built (490,087) and from that total 133,059 were Oxford White.

Don't care about the legal stuff. Ford will have to offer a White truck!

Look what they did with the Edge. Creme Brulee! What the F$^K is that?

If you want White (Oxford or not) send em a note.

Thanks.

We have oxford white on our build sheets. They may end up calling it something else but it will still be oxford.

Little off topic here, but DD do you have any insight on the other thread re: Top 14 questions...

Or are you still in no position to discuss any of those?
