OK all pics so far of FX4 are the 17" wheels. The link @ Trucktrend shows a FX4 with available 17, 18 & 20" wheels. I love the 18...

I was reading the press materials where it states "the FX4 features a std 17" off-road wheel and offers a unique 20" inch option". Hmmm no mention of 18".

What gives? Any one know?

 

Yeah, what gives is that FoMoCo finally realized & smartened up that 20's do not belong on a vehicle that does any serious Off Roading for lack of sidewall, & adaquate off road tires etc. Anyone who does serious Off Roading with 20's will destroy those rims & tires in no time!...........esecially on the rocks!.....

 

the picture you posted is the real deal. Its an offical ford image being shared in catalogs at the autoshows.

Is directly form the Ford Media press Kit which I pulled off the Ford.com site

 

yes, they didnt say "only 17 and 20", just showing that there will be varying wheel options.

 

So they mention every wheel option except the 18" for the FX4? I guess we'll have to wait and see. If those pics are correct, than why is the "unique" 20" FX4 wheel pictured the same as the 20" wheel offered on the Lariat?

the smaller i can get the wheels and the bigger i can get the tires the happier i will be....a lot of times i just go over the curb....
