You realize that it says 320 and 390 running on E85
310 and 365 (same amount as now) running on regular gasonline.
I haven't seen E85 for sale, I'm not looking for it but I haven't noticed it. Also how much does E85 costs vs regular gas.
Makes me wonder if your getting the extra performance based on the "octane" of the fuel. Just my thoughts.

While E85 does has a higher octane rating, in a flex fuel vehicle you really can't take advantage of the higher compression capabilities because when it's run on gasoline, you have now have the possibility of engine detonation.
I highly doubt the 320/390 ratings are for E85 only.

I am alittle confused, okay I am alot confused about the new motor. It is my understanding that they are offering the following: A 5.4-liter, 3-valve Triton V-8, A 4.6-liter, 3-valve V-8, Or a 4.6-liter, 2-valve V-8. I believe that one of the 4.6 liters has been scratched, not sure which.
I have a 2006 XLT SCrew 4x4 with the 5.4L V8. The most I ever pull is a 16ft V-nose all aluminum trailer that weighs 1625 empty and I never have over 2000 lbs in it. I only use this trailer 3-4 times a year going to antique shows out of state. Will the new 4.6V8 give me what I need when I need it?
Alot of times I feel that the 5.4 is alot more then I need for just regular trips without trailer?
Any help would be appreciated.
