Blackf-150 do me a favour and if you order than send me a copy of the invoice so i can show it to my dealer to try and get more discount. They wont tell me the apr until the truck turns up so im worried it's going to be high.

But see, here's the thing. I ain't nowhere near Helfman Ford, and neither are thousands of other members on F150online. Some (more) pictures for us who aren't anywhere near you would have been nice.
Additionally, even though I work for a dealership, I ain't really comfortable going to another dealership to look at new vehicles. Wanna know why?
I got a little flier in the mail that says, "Come check out the 2009 F150 on display!" and when I did, the sales pukes try to talk me (and several other people who were there to look at the '09) into everything on the lot, when all I wanted to do is look at the new truck. I had to tell no less than the general sales manager, the internet sales manager, and three salesmen, no, I'm not interested in the left over 2008s you've got, I don't want to trade my truck in, I don't want to order a 2009, and I'm not interested in anything in your used vehicle inventory, I just want to look.
I'm sure I'm not the only one that gets that crap when I go to a dealership, and most folks just ain't really digging that.
Now, you coulda been a nice guy, took ten minutes out of your day and snapped a few pics for those of us who don't really want to go to a dealership to look at the new truck because we can't go to the dealership to look at the new truck without being harassed about everything including the new truck.
But, no. Instead, you used the forum to say "Come on down to my dealership to check out the 2009 F150!" when you and I know, and Ford knows, that the display vehicles are there primarily to get people in the showroom, to get them to buy or order something. Which I don't necessarily disagree with in a working sense, that's what the sales department is there for, to sell vehicles, but as an ordinary Joe Consumer, it's just something that a lot of people don't really like or feel comfortable with.

I went to my local Ford dealer Friday afternoon just to see if they had any in yet. I didn't even get PARKED before a salesman flagged me down and asked if I was there for the "big sale". I told him I was in to see if they had any 09 F-150's in yet - he said that he was a used car salesman and had no idea, I needed to talk to new car sales. I parked, and got maybe 3 feet out of my truck before another salesperson snagged me. I asked the same thing - and got "Oh sure - they are over here!" Well, let's go and look.......
Didn't see a one. This clown is showing me all 6 of the leftover 08's. Finally she asked another salesman and he told her nope - not in yet.
This is the kind of CRAP we have to deal with when we go to dealerships. It's especially bad right now with sales way down, they are all pretty hungry.
I believe it's against forum rules to make a post with the express intent to sell something. You didn't technically violate that rule, and that's okay with me. However, I do believe that you posted with the intent to get people into your dealership - why else would you have said "Come on down" when you knew they were display models not for sale, and did not provide any pictures? That's going to get you a blast from members here that realize that.

I am not going to order one in the near future, I have bought from this dealer on my 04 which I got for $100 over invoice on a factory order they only do this until trucks start hitting the lot then they go up it is just a way to get their factory orders up, but just sit tight these trucks won't be flying off lots u will be able to make a good deal after the first of the year times are pretty tight right now.
