If you go with the captains chairs, the shifter will be on the floor. I wanted the extra seat up front, but I agree the shifter looks better on the floor.

 

its not bad, i kinda like it in the colum but if you go with a nice truck like the king ranch or a larait then i would go with the floor shifter

 

Nice truck! I like the 09 F150's but I plan on keeping my 04 though! I finally got to see my first 09 this morning it was a silver stx with the flareside bed! It didn't impress me at all but I know it's almost a base model truck though just ahead of the xl model! I didn't have time to stop and look at the interior but i'll go back this evening and get a closer look!

 

That is a very nice truck. I wish I could afford one like that. I configured a XL 4x4 reg cab short bed with the options I wanted and it was 30K. That FX4 is really nice and its the only one that gets the locker. I just dont understand that. Ford is just so stupid sometimes.
