Agreed. Where did you get that lower grille insert? That helps, anyway.

I also like the idea of dumping those ugly reflectors on the mirrors. They did so much right with this truck. Just not perfect. Think I'll see if I can replace those right away.

Are those tow hooks standard? (Mine is a 4x2, so not sure if they just come on the 4x4)

Thanks everyone.

Looks pretty good but I've never really been a fan of billet grills except for the RBP Grilles of course. They look awesome.

I have to add my 2 cents as well. Love the truck, love the MPG, HATE the "overriders" and that ugly gap between them in the front bumper..

i installed the t-rex inserts. same thing as the ones in the video. it looks better than the cheap gray plastic they come with. i would post a pic but this site makes it to complicated. just posted them to an album if you want to see it on a lariat.

my boss hadn't seen my truck yet and just came into work today after looking at it. The first thing he said is "What the heck did you take off the front of the truck that left that huge hole in the bumper?"

GEEZ FORD!!

Cool Rather have the bass-mouth look of a ram?

I like the overriders, and think the truck looks great as-is. ANYways, besides my personal opinion; don't most states require two license plates nowadays? Did anyone notice that when you bought the truck, you had to remove the license plate holder to create this amazingly large, extremely in-your-face can't-miss-it, gaping orafice I keep hearing about? C'mon.

"I'm lifting my truck and want to know where I can find honeycomb mesh to surround my truck so there isn't a gaping hole between the truck body and road surface..."

Even if you aren't required to put a 2nd plate up front, you can buy custom plates like, {#1 Ford} or {#1 Truck} or {I love guinea pigs!} or even {I plugged a gaping hole!} Whatever works for ya!!!

That is if the state you live in requires 2 plates (mine doesn't). If it doesn't, the dealer doesn't order the truck with the plate hence the gigantic hole.

http://www.mrtraffic.com/frontplate.htm

My dealer had it in a sealed bag inside the truck on the last 3 trucks I bought. BTW this was at 3 different dealers too.

I still want to get the Billet Grille of the bumper hole.
