Thanks. You are right. That is an excellent site. If the orders are being accepted on 03/23/09 the order guides with all of the changes to 2010 must be coming out soon.

2010 diesel anyone?

Then it usually takes 4-5 weeks to get an "OK to ship" from engineering.

As far as 09's sales I would say dealers are showcasing all the vehicles that get high gas mileage. That is what people are wanting these days or are being told that is what they want. You will see the focus, fusion, flex, edge, escape etc. in the showrooms more than the trucks.
Sales have been good lately. I heard this week that our downweeks in April and May have been cancelled because of an order for 15,000 trucks that came in this week.
Yeah, kind of makes you wonder what Ford is doing/thinking. You guys just added your second shift back with downtime on the books...We are getting ready to add the third shift back and they allready have us rotating down weeks up to shutdown.

On a side note...we are running pre-production tests of the Raptor next week to see how they run through the system.

I don't know...The rims in Rambo's pic look sweet.

Don't be surprised if the diesel is late...job 2 of 2010 MY or job 1 of 2011.

It's still coming as far as I know (been out of the loop for six months). It may come before or with the ecoboost.

Yeah they pushed the EcoBoost to 2011MY.

That's why I ordered a 2009. To wait 2 years after release is just way too long. I could have held out until early 2010 for an EcoBoost but not any longer. By then you'd start thinking about the next remodel and why buy now why not just wait a bit.

When did you order it comet. I been snowboarding the last 10 days and only just realised. I also agree that it's silly to wait till 2011 for a truck with a certain engine when the new models will be just around the corner. What did you order in the end?

Just wait for the 6.2

Ford is not that stupid to not mass produce it . 6.2 detuned from the Raptor in the top of the line F150s

They say it wont be in the F150s so they wouldnt lose sales on the 09s and perhaps 10s.
