Does the 04-08 Rancho lift work?

im wanting to do a 4" lift on my 09 KR to actually add some real tires. anyone know if the 04-08 lieft will work? dont know that they changed much...not dependent on the increased length.

Thanks for input

No, the 04-08 Rancho lift won't work on the new trucks.

Sorry, I haven't personally contacted them myself. I just know that Pro Comp and SkyJacker, as well as FabTech, all had to redo the lift designs to work with the redesigned 2009's. FabTech's is not out for sale yet, but was used on a show truck (SEMA I believe?). Pro Comp and Skyjacker's lifts are both available currently, and are the only 2 out at the moment. You can get leveling kits tho.

Oh, and both those kits are 6". So you can either do a 2" or 2.5" leveling kit, or a 6" suspension lift as of right now.

In addition to the above, Rize has shown their 8" kit and I am told they will start shipping it in the next 30 - 45 days.

BDS also has a 6" kit available for the 2009's. http://www.bds-suspension.com/?sourc...FSQhDQod8SnypA

hmmm

does the pro-comp 6" work with stock rims? part of ther eason for the rancho other than i dont NEED a 6" kit is that i can keep my stock KR 20's. planning on a 285/65r20LT tire in BFG KO or the GY MTR kevlar. if i got prociomp, it'd be the stage 2 kit witht he MX coil overs. is that a good kit?
